I started there working 3rd shift on injection mold making shrouds and within 3 weeks had increased production by 40%. The change was so dramatic that several engineers came in from 1st shift and spent a couple of hours observing and asking me how I had increased production by 40%. I showed and explained to them that I did not change their process but that I changed the implementation of their process, I was then sent to 1st shift for about a week to train them on how I was applying the process and then spent about a week on 2nd shift training them also. I was later promoted to the Powder slush room making skins for the dash boards. I was also the highest paid temporary at the time and waiting to be hired full time. I was then informed that Goodman mfg.was hiring full time and applied and was hired and have been there since as a Lead Quality Assurance Auditor.

I actually started working for him before the dates shown above. The dates reflect the time I was actually responsible for job sites and employees as well. This time spent with my dad running his business gave me very good job experience in the trades and the ability to learn responsibilities and dedication for work at a very young age.
