Tower Manager, As a member of the infrastructure management team I am responsible for supporting the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of Commonwealth of Virginia IT voice, video and telecommunication services. I oversee the ordering, provisioning and maintenance of hosted and on-premises VoIP services and systems, audio and video conferencing services and traditional telecommunications services for Commonwealth state agencies as the Commonwealth transitions to a multisupplier model. Performed as hands-on project manager, technical administrator, and developer for the consulting services unit within Telcordia. · Successfully built and managed the ANX® network operations, helpdesk and secure disaster recovery systems, all of which adhered to required mandatory SLA requirements. The ANX® has a 100% uptime history. The ANX network is the global managed secure, reliable and high performance IP based extranet built by Telcordia for the automotive industry and has been in production for 3 years.· Developed as lead programmer a Web accessible, global service (BHaRK®) which monitors compliance with customer system SLAs using open source, Telcordia patented technologies and COTS tools· Project managed the commercialization of the Telcordia DSL Loop Qualification Software system, which validates service quality for customer DSL deployments.· Managed and administrated the ANX® Y2K program with zero defects.

Projects included:Contractor/Consultant - TINA-C (Telecommunication Information Network Architecture Consortium) [1993-1998]. · Performed as the Senior Systems and Network Administrator supporting an international team of researchers (from member companies) developing a futuristic network architecture using distributed object-oriented technologies for the telecommunications industry.· Designed and implemented the project's public/private Web structure in 1994, which served as the consortium's primary communication and development framework· Responsible for systems administration of all equipment/software/applications accessible globally by employees of member companies and the core team located in NJ.· Responsibilities included software development and training.· Traveled internationally demonstrating consortium products/prototypes.
