I led the Merchandise team for a leading Australian retailer in developing a new retail concept. In this position I worked within the field of Retail Excellence. Examples of my projects include:Supermarket – Implementing a continuous improvement cultureI was responsible for setting up a program aimed at creating a continuous improvement culture both at the shop floor level and higher management. One of the elements was designing and implementing standups and visual management at the shop floor level. To make this program a success I actively coached ten Regional Managers and helped them to implement the program at the shop floor at twenty supermarketsBank – Customer Journey stream leadAt a large national bank we led a project to efficiently and effectively contact 400,000 clients and advise them on whether their life insurance policies were still best suited to their current personal situation. I led a team of six project members to design the best customer and bank processes to optimize customer satisfaction.Sports company - International Strategy This sports chain is one of the world’s largest international sport store companies; however it is orga-nized in a national structure. The goal of our strategy investigation was to identify possibilities for international synergies.National Auto Association - Product development The largest national Auto Association with a broad array of services for its retail customers was looking for a new Car Insurance Product. We helpedto identify ‘sweet spots’ in the Dutch market and to develop a product that would both fit it's core DNA and customer expectations.

In this position I was active within the field of Operational Excellence. Examples of my projects include:Oil & Gas - SAP implementationAs a trial for Capgemini I was involved in implementing lean principles in a large SAP program at an Oil & Gas company in Austria. My work involved data analysis and conducting interviews.Telecom – International Business TransformationI worked in the CRM team within a large business transformation project for a telecom company in Belgium. For this project I cooperated in an international team of over twenty consultants. My task was to lead up to one hundred business process walkthroughs, and to act as the link between the CRM stream leader and the team of business process experts. Life Insurance – Lean stream leaderAt this insurance company II was responsible for implementing the Capgemini BeLean approach for implementing continuous improvement. As a stream leader I coached four customer employees in optimizing two processes using the BeLean approach. In addition, I trained twenty employees in Be Lean.Bank - Business Process analystAt this bank I was responsible for analyzing and modeling various business processes using ARIS. In addition I was responsible for developing and implementing a new method for knowledge management. During this project I facilitated many workshops and coached the internal employees.Immigrations – Business process analystResponsible for improving the secondary business processes as a process analyst using Visio. Achievements include an increase of uniform working methods in several locations in the Netherlands and in the efficiency of several Human Resource functions.
