Hi! I'm Mihir Jichkar, a Computer Science grad from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and I'm passionate about leveraging technology and effective altruism principles to create a helpful impact in the world. I've had the opportunity to work with startups as well as MNCs, and I'm eager to continue learning and growing in my career.As a software engineer, I am skilled in C++, Node, Go, Python, NPL, TACC, perforce and related technologies. I have worked with Git, Perforce, Docker/Docker Compose and Linux-based systems to set up development environments and CI/CD pipelines.Currently, I have rejoined Arista Networks and am working with their telemetry team. A few months back I was working with SigScalr to scale their platform for even faster and more unified observability of logs. Previously, I have worked with Arista Networks and TowaSo, two companies that are leaders in their respective domains of cloud networking solutions and waste management services. In the former, I worked on adding a telemetry-related feature to their operating system. In the other, I designed the architecture of their payments, statistics and geolocation services, built deployment channels and even led the entire tech team for a short time.Over time, I have learned how to develop scalable, reliable and user-friendly software solutions that solve a variety of problems.Apart from my technical skills, I'm also committed to making a difference with my work. I'm involved with social causes like rural education and I'm always looking for new ways to use my skills to make a positive impact. In college, I even made my attempts to be a social entrepreneur.Looking forward to collaborating and working on meaningful projects that solve real problems.
