Throughout my career, I have been routinely deployed to sites which are in danger of being grossly over schedule.With an extensive knowledge of project recovery, a combination of efficient labor management, and logistically planned cost reductions, I show up to a stalled job site with one objective in mind, REDUCE COSTS and STOP delays.A typical deployment means I am realigning projects with original timelines, aggressively saving the company tens of thousands in fines, effectively securing and negotiating additional contracts; all the while remembering to simultaneously advance employee morale.I am charged with leading anywhere between 8 and 30 team members, three project leads, and staying in constant communication with my direct supervisors, as well as the PM's of the location. After defining my teams’ weekly goals, organizing their importance, strategizing an efficient method, and assigning everyone their duties; I have found the best way to be successful is to continuously update and redefine any approach which begins to cause a lag in the operations of my team.Although I have always preferred to be a working supervisor, I do not micromanage my team. Ensuring my team receives the training and education needed has always guaranteed their ability to be self-sufficient and productive throughout the shift. In my experience, employee morale is the principal factor in a project’s success or demise.Time management, efficient labor use, and diverse critical thinking have defined my successes and exposed my missteps. Taking knowledge from both paths, I have gained foresight regarding crucial signs of preventable delays. Just call me "The Closer."
