-Keep our stores safe and secure against loss from theft and fraud-Initiate investigations and internal interviews-Assist with recruiting and hiring of the assets protection team-Maintain positive working relationships with local political, education and law enforcement officials and agencies.-Drive a safeness culture focused on prevention by ensuring store leadership is trained on assets protection best practices-Act as leader on duty on a rotating basis by responding to guest and team concerns, opening and closing the store and ensuring all Target property and personnel are secure

-Assist in responding to crisis and working with Investigators to resolve safeness investigations.-Gather, retain, and communicate market level safeness issues and trends for Investigators.-Conduct case research using investigative data bases and proprietary systems to initiate and further develop organized internal and external cases.-Provide case documentation by gathering, organizing and preparing intelligence and evidence.-Build strong partnerships with Investigations Teams and peers to resolve investigations.-Share intelligence data with local Stores, Investigations Leadership, Supply Chain, and Investigations teams to close cases.
