Als lid van het team Informatiebeveiliging en Privacy (IBP) van SIVON richt ik me vooral op het toetsen van verwerkersovereenkomsten. Hierbij wordt een structureel proces ingericht om, samen met de juiste expertise en de praktijkervaring van scholen, de afspraken in de verwerkersovereenkomsten centraal te verbeteren. Daarmee ontlasten we onderwijsinstellingen èn leveranciers en maken we samen het onderwijs veiliger...

Voor de - soms extra kwetsbare - leerlingen, en voor medewerkers, ouders/verzorgers en samenwerkingspartners. Niet omdat het Moet vanwege externe factoren als boetes, maar omdat we dat Willen en samen Kunnen. Fysieke veiligheid en Sociale veiligheid staan al lang op de kaart bij scholen. Informatieveiligheid en Privacy daarentegen niet. We hebben nog een inhaalslag te maken. Voor MetPascal een mooie uitdaging waarbij ik graag onderwijsorganisaties help om stapsgewijs, bewust en samen (Informatie)Veiligheid op school op orde te krijgen en te houden.MetPascal heeft een ICT-achtergrond, kent de onderwijssector, is geschoold via ICTrecht.nl en is lid van het Nederlands Genootschap van Functionarissen voor de Gegevensbescherming (NGFG).

Samen MetPascal komen onderwijsprofessionals in verbinding met de juiste ict-diensten en -dienstverleners [onafhankelijke makelaarsfunctie]. Door samenwerking MetPascal krijg je advies om processen structureel te verbeteren door de bewuste inzet van ict [gedegen adviseursrol]. Het blijft niet bij onderzoek en advies in woorden. Het projectmatig borgen van ict-oplossingen en veranderingen kan bij uitstek MetPascal [project- en implementatiepartner]. Samen maken we de processen in de onderwijsorganisatie nog beter, sneller, makkelijker en als het even kan zeker ook gewoon leuker! En veiliger! MetPascal leer je bewuster omgaan met persoonsgegevens ihkv privacy.

Schoolwijzer Nijmegen is het centraal aanmeldpunt voor primair onderwijs in Nijmegen. Het is een samenwerking tussen Stichting Sint Josephscholen, Stichting Conexus, Stichting Pallas, SIMONscholen, Stichting Basisschool De Klokkenberg, Stichting R.K. Onderwijs Lent, en de Gemeente Nijmegen.

Voor Kennisnet mocht ik aan de slag als projectleider Toetsen verwerkersovereenkomsten, waarbij de ambitie is om een structureel proces in te richten om samen met de juiste expertise en de praktijkervaring van scholen verwerkersovereenkomsten centraal te toetsen (ipv dat iedere school dat voor zich doet). In 2023 wordt dat onderdeel van het Leveranciersmanagement onder de vlag van SIVON.

Onderwijsgroep Buitengewoon zet zich in voor kinderen in het (voortgezet) speciaal onderwijs en praktijkonderwijs en biedt daarbij ambulante begeleiding. Mooi uitgangspunt van Onderwijsgroep Buitengewoon: 'Anders is voor ons gewoon. En gewoon is wat kinderen en jongeren kúnnen. Niet wat hun beperkingen zijn.'In mijn functie van Staffunctionaris ICT kijk ik naar innovatie in het onderwijs in het algemeen, en de kansen van ict voor Onderwijsgroep Buitengewoon in het bijzonder. Daarbij deel ik graag mijn kennis(sen) en ervaring. Ik geef advies met een evenwichtige en bewuste aanpak bij uitdagingen waarbij ict als middel dient. Samen met mijn collega's ga ik op zoek naar waardevolle afspraken voor het toepassen van ict in de klas en in de bedrijfsvoering. Ik vervul de rol van adviseur, projectleider en inkoop- en contractmanager.Als teamleider ondersteun ik mijn collega's bij de uitvoering van hun taken voor het domein ICT.Sinds november 2017 ben ik na mijn opleiding bij ICTRecht ook functionaris voor de gegevensbescherming (FG), ook wel bekend onder de naam Data Protection Officer (DPO).

I'm grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with wonderful people at this great school. The Odulphuslyceum is a secondary school (havo + vwo) with approximately 1.200 pupils. The havo was undergoing an educational transformation in which belief, responsibility, positive attitude, and collaboration are key elements to get a better, individual result. A new havo location is being prepared to make this work. Flexibility of elements e.g. desks, smart boards, devices and connectivity, within primarily open spaces is created to bring added value to the pupils and teachers at the exact moment and within the context that it is needed (just in time).In my role as an ICT advisor I answered the following questions: Which device is most likely to contribute to our educational transformation given our (financial) organization? Can you supply a business case within a short period of time and advise for a pilot on this subject? Given the possible use of a new device, how would that effect the use of certain important functionality/applications in the classroom? More specific: Are there appropriate web apps to fulfil the functional needs in the classroom, e.g. for producing, searching, testing and of course learning? How is Magister/MetaXL going to work on a Chromebook using Chrome OS, thus without a Silverlight-plugin? Is there an online alternative for WinToets, a tool for digital testing? Can we do a pilot to compare their added value? To maintain flexibility there is a need to extend the wireless network. How should we extend it given an upcoming renovation and the extension to a new building? What are other important aspects of ICT to bare in mind given the extension and renovation? Which items of ICT or digital media are important to incorporate in the design of the new website www.oduphus.nl? What are the main suggestions for an ICT policy shortlist for the Odulphuslyceum? Can you add practical examples?

I was a policy advisor of the Board of Directors of Ons Middelbaar Onderwijs (OMO) in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). In that function I was responsible for the advise and implementation of new ICT policy for the central office and 45 schools on a secondary education level.Ons Middelbaar Onderwijs is an employer of almost 7000 employees in secondary education in the Netherlands. The most important task of OMO and its 45 schools is to bear collective responsibility for high-quality education for over 60000 students, in preparation for further education as well as a place in society.

As a member of the board (voluntary position) of this athletics association (track and field) with almost 800 members, I was responsible for specific digital communication issues and the maintenance of the accommodation (6 lanes tartan track).

As a member of the department of Communication and Information Sciences I managed a digital research environment, designed and developed digital research instruments and worked on several pr and marketing faculty projects. I implemented a web application for managing the administrative process of students working on their thesis, from first idea to a final graduation mark. Besides that I was a teacher of a practical course on the use of digital media.

My role in a government sponsored E-learning project named ‘Doorstroomroutes HBO-WO’ concentrated on the development of digital self study courses embedding multimedia, interactive communication and digital testing, using BlackBoard as a digital learning ‘vessel’.The aim of the project was to get a better and more flexible connection between higher professional education (HBO) and university education (WO). One way to achieve this goal was to apply innovative distance learning.

As a secretary of the board (voluntary position) of this separate foundation specifically for the maintenance of the accommodation of athletics association ATV Scorpio I was responsible for the communication with stakeholders for several maintenance operations.

As a student-assistent for the master programme major Business Communication and Digital Media (BDM), I designed and developed a student web portal, I assisted teachers during a practical course on the design and use of digital media and I constructed a digital learning environment in BlackBoard for a course on Digital Document Design. Furthermore I assisted graduating students and researchers by setting up their digital research method and analysis.

For an international graduation project at Alpnet Inc. in Singapore, I was given the opportunity to develop a workflow-integrated E-business supply chain web portal. In this portal freelance translators from all over the world are able to subscribe online to various translation assignments. In 2002 Alpnet merged with SDL International, creating one of the largest global localization companies.

During my internship as part of my bachelor study in Advanced Informatics I implemented an incident report system and a system for the registration of hazardous substances at the department of Safety & Environment. ThermPhos International is one of the world’s largest producers of phosphorus, phosphoric acid, phosphates, phosphonates and phosphorus derivatives.
