My role is to coordinate, plan and manage projects in different technologies, with a team of remote developers. I am also responsible for selecting the team and guiding them on a technical level. I handle approximately 5-6 simultaneous projects.I have learned how complex it can be to manage teams remotely and reduce the risk that may be involved in the execution of projects. I have learned new technologies and their practical application.

My main role was to lead the team of 3 Managers, who led an average of 4-5 developers each. I had to coordinate and evaluate the performance of the projects that each of them had and give them support in everything they needed.We implemented Scrum as a development methodology and I had to be the one who adapted it to our dynamics. We implement methodologies to reward the commitment and productivity of the developers without harming the quality of the products.I learned a lot more about the management of expectations, risks, economic impact of the projects, implementation of strategies, team management.

I started managing developer teams more biggers, I worked with groups of 5-6 developers and 6 projects at the same time. I had to estimate the duration of the projects, plan their execution based on dates, availability of developers, etc. and technical support to the team.I was responsible for carrying out projects in many areas, web development, mobile, augmented reality, second screen applications, among others.I learned a lot about managing customer expectations and how to estimate, plan and develop projects with different levels of team knowledge.

I developed mobile applications in different technologies, which at that time were in full growth. I also developed mobile versions of web portals, when there were still no tools for responsive development.One of the most outstanding applications that I developed was that of Cines Unidos in Blackberry, with which we won the award for the best Blackberry application of the year 2012 in the B2C category.I learned many valuable things about mobile development and how it differs from web development and how to take advantage of the ability to connect with the user.

I developed an application in J2ME (java) to send free SMS, the application had advertising space to get benefits like free SMS.I was in charge of updating and maintaining the mobile web of Meridiano.com.ve (sports), the most visited sports portal in Venezuela.

I was Co-Founder at Deseandolo.com (formerly known as Teluciste.com)Teluciste.com started as a website to give giftcards for special occasions, when it was not very clear what to give. These could be from different establishments and allowed collaboration between friends.After testing the market, we realized that the concept of Giftcard was not widely accepted by the public and decided to pivot to Deseandolo.com, which was a marketplace to discover, share and buy the products you always wanted.It was accelerated by Wayra Venezuela (Acceleradora de Telefonica) in 2012-2013I learned a bit of entrepreneurship and all the edges involved in launching a digital product to the market.Finally we could not continue because of the little traction that the product had
