I am a Bilingual professional who has provided leadership in a variety of contexts including Head Start, child welfare, family support, churches, and community groups. I have led programs to utilize technology to make processes more efficient. I have facilitated engaging trainings on a variety of topics, including Child Abuse and Neglect, Positive Parenting, Father Involvement, Head Start Eligibility and Enrollment, Parent Engagement (including the Parent, Family, and Community Engagement Framework), Fatherhood, Strength-based Family Partnerships, culture, racism, generational differences, and multicultural community building. I have overseen the work of volunteer and paid staff; planned, publicized, and organized events; supported teens and parents with children of all ages; and done public speaking and staff training.
