About Paolo Maggi
Paolo Maggi graduated in Computer Engineering in 1998, and received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering in 2002, both from Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy.From 2003 till 2010, he has been research assistant and teacher at Politecnico di Torino where he taught courses on computer networks and distributed programming. His research activities focused on distributed systems and formal methods applied to computer security.He has been an active member of the open-source GNOME community maintaining the gedit text editor and the gtksourceview library.At the beginning of 2004, he joined NICE as a senior software developer and architect.In 2009, he become the director of NICE R&D Department.In March 2016, NICE has been acquired by AWS. Since then, he is leading the NICE/AWS engineering team in Asti and Cagliari sites.
