In conjunction with Senior Management develop and administer programs, policies, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company. Act as a Business Partner with managers and supervisors to communicate policies, procedures and programs to protect the Company agains liability.Maintain a strategic organizational development plan to meet the training needs of the employees for the continuous development of a superior workforce.Protect the Company by maintaining compliance with various laws which affect the employment relationship including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, AAP, and wage/hours.Coordinate the recruitment, assessment and selection of staff and managerial team members.Design and implement company processes associated with employee selection, orientation and termination to ensure consistent practice.Provide counsel to employees and managers regarding employment related concerns and mediate workplace disputes. Support adherence to the Corrective Action Policy for fair and consistent treatment of all employees throughout the disciplinary process.Participate in the design and administration of base and variable compensation programs. Advise management on compensation decisions to ensure consistent, fair, and equitable practices are maintained in accordance with company policies and objectives.Manage the annual merit process to clarify expectations, set objectives, identify goals, provide feedback and evaluate results to be able to accomplish the strategic objectives of the organization.Oversee the entire payroll process including the selection and integration of a new payroll provider. Manage the 401(k) administration and compliance.In conjunction with Senior Management participate in benefit plan design, vendor selection, and bid evaluation process.
