I ran for US Congress as a Republican in District 32 against 20-year incumbent Pete Sessions in the 2016 and 2018 Republican Primaries. During the 2016 election cycle I personally visited over 9,500 houses across the district while going door-to-door, made thousands of phone calls, attended and spoke at countless meetings and forums, and spent 12 hours per day at the polls during early voting and on election day. I received 9,488 votes, but it was not enough to win the election. The experience left me with a strong understanding of the political process and strengthened my grasp of policy and strategic planning. For the 2018 election cycle I was unable to campaign full-time, but still secured 8,575 votes, which constituted about 20% of the vote.

As a retail banker personal banker at the only Chase branch in Sherman, TX, I opened and closed accounts, provided services, and handled money. I was the only Spanish-speaking banker at the branch at the time, and often interfaced with Spanish-speaking customers. Additionally I received training and had the FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses.

Served as a SIGINT Geospatial Analyst (SGA) in support of intelligence and tactical operations in Baghdad, Iraq by monitoring whereabouts and activities of insurgents, writing reports, creating target packages, and coordinating and synthesizing data between multiple intelligence shops within the Area of Operations (AO). Scanned, translated, and transcribed Latin American intelligence information in support of LACT, Texas. Was responsible for the training and development of 10 Marines.- Supported 3/4 Infantry Division (ID) through creation of over 50 target packages and over 70 tactical reports in support of tactical operations over a six month period in Iraq.- Created intelligence products that were directly instrumental in the capture of over 20 insurgents, including five High Value Targets (HVT) and the 3/4 ID HVT #1 for the AO.- Responsible for the accountability, and mental and physical training of 10 Marines over a one year period.- Conducted two complete Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) training cycles for Marines ranked E-2 to O-4.- Transcribed or translated hundreds of text and audio files, and scanned thousands of documents in search of relevant intelligence information in support of LACT, Texas over a one year period.- Maintained high standards of discipline and competency, earning the rank of Sergeant in under four years
