I've spent the last three years as an iOS developer on the QuickBooks Workforce mobile app. During that time I've worked with Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C. I've worked on several initiatives including:- Executed performance analysis of the app and making improvements resulting in a 17% reduction in scroll hitch rate and a 65% reduction in hang rate- Performed code coverage analysis and quality improvements resulting in ~10% increase in code coverage- Launched several user visible features- Fixed bugs and crashes- Developed internal macOS application (in SwiftUI) from scratch to parse and and display customer log data and aid in debugging customer issues.Prior to this, I was a full stack engineer working on the QuickBooks Time web application. I spent the bulk of my time working with PHP, MySQL, and React while supporting our customer billing engine. While working on the billing team, I- Worked to enable support for VAT to enable the acquisition of additional customers in the UK, Australia, etc.- Supported pricing migrations- Migrated customers from a legacy billing engine to the modern billing engine.- Worked to build a "What's New" feature to expose new features and capabilities to users.

During the last few years of my time at HP Inc, I worked as a full stack engineer on a cloud based resource/fleet management web service utilizing a Java/Spring back end with an Angular UI. During my time on this project I- Implemented a cloud based solution for the sharing and synchronization of resources and configurations between print servers.- Developed an on-device software updater, for updating code on the print server device (including updating the software updater itself) utilizing this cloud platform- Worked closely with several large customers to collect feedback and requirements for new features.Prior to this, I worked on the web based print server application supporting Indigo printing presses and while working on this project I- Developed web based front end for moving print jobs through a layout and color configuration workflow before sending them to print- Analyzed and optimized app performance. Implemented fixes to memory leaks and database query inefficiencies. I reduced database query times, some by a factor of 10 in the worst case.

eTripTrader was my first job out of college, and I was privileged to work alongside a great team as a full stack engineer, building a schedule management and shift trading application. While with eTripTrader I - Developed a shift trading board, rules engine, and approval process for automated schedule management and shift trading web application.
