Business Systems Analyst in the Information Technology (IT) department specifically on the Idaho Power external-Web team. In this role, I provide analysis of project requests specific to the Web team and to those internal departments who request the services of a Web developer. I excel in the Test Lead role, thanks much to my background and education in Technical Communications, but more so because of my extensive testing experience and my eye for detail in which I often dig deeper to find the troublesome, buried and hidden defects. Process improvement is a strong point of mine and I enjoy providing an expert outside eye to those who request my help. Prior to my work in IT, I worked as a BSA in the documentation group providing analysis of and solutions for content- and records-management.

Temporary position providing technical editing for the Idaho Power Corporate Communications department. Specifically, in support of Hydro-dam relicensing projects.

Managed day-to-day activities of a million-dollar-a-year baby supply department and direct manager of seven full- and part-time employees. Inventory replenishment and shrink control. Recognized by Burlington Coat Factory for having the lowest shrink (theft) in the company for my department in 2004. During my tenure, I reached out and connected with a local hospital’s (St. Alphonsus) nursing staff to educate myself (and therefore my employees) on the benefits of certain maternity products over others. This had a direct positive impact on department sales and for my efforts I was ranked highest in the Northwest region for sales of a certain maternity product. My efforts did not go unnoticed, as an executive with the company for whom I increased sales so dramatically, offered me a permanent sales job; which I declined due to travel obligations.
