Profile bio

About Patrick Mccormic

As a technologist, I started my own consulting agency to inspire a paradigm shift in the ways that industry stakeholders consider the technology master planning and digital infrastructure of the built environment. In fact, I engaged in the technology master planning and design of a $2 billion, 55-acre mixed-use development. In just 8 weeks, we planned a scalable communications infrastructure hub, at a profit, by designing a technology master plan and pro forma so that their development team can see the potential and imagine the possibilities of a smart community purpose-built to elevate the live-work-play experience. Every day, we look closer towards a digital future where smart infrastructure and digital placemaking transform data into decisions and decisions into unique guest experiences. In fact, my involvement with the digital master planning and design of ocV!BE, a sports and entertainment-centered mixed-use development coming soon to Anaheim, CA, is where I first noticed the potential for innovation as a district-wide experience. Which is why I’m listening to other development leaders, learning from their technology planning and design approaches and sharing my knowledge and experience, if appropriate. I am available to support mixed-use districts at all levels of development with a focus on sports and entertainment-centered projects. My background in information technology, real estate and government relations across all sectors working with ocV!BE, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Congress, Hawai'i Department of Education and Segerstrom Center for the Arts allows me to draw upon multidisciplinary expertise and experience. My understanding of mixed-use development is better than it was six months ago. And my understanding of the space six months from now will be better than it is today. That is because I have a clear sense of why I’m having conversations with industry leaders: to listen and learn from the industry experiences of others. I am excited to get more involved in ULI San Diego/Tijuana and empower the next generation of industry leaders in the real estate development and smart city landscape. Please do not hesitate to reach out!
