Responsible for the total up keep of the mechanical and electrical critical services of the MetLife European Corporate office as well as all soft services of which is a 45,000 sq ft. Building. This role comprises of the Full responsibility for the M&E systems employed by the building, and ensuring the extremely high levels of uptime required of same. This.

Responsible for the up keep of the Ballymun Civic Centre of 11500 sq Mtr with over 600 hundred staff and a foot fall of approx 1000 public traffic a day.Management of the engineering team, security and cleaning.Full responsibility for all soft and hard services for the building.Compiling of asset register, maintenance calendars, emergency procedure plans.

I am at present the Facilities Manager of Digiweb's three main offices and Data Centre. I have the full responsibility for the M&E systems employed by the datacentre, and ensuring the extremely high levels of uptime required of same. This includes systems such as generators, UPS, transformers, switchgear, air conditioning and handling, CRAC systems.

I managed the external mechanical and electrical maintenance companies for all the building plant, the plant equipment consists of Uninterruptible power supplies, Generator, DX cooling units, Chilled water cooling units, Humidifiers and security systems comprising of access control, CCTV and intruder alarm system. I have also written the emergency.

This was much a similar role to my present employment and it incorporated a 20,000sq ft Data Centre in west Dublin comprising of 20,000sq ft office. I designed and managed the fit out of the 2nd floor office which was let out to customers. I also managed the security procedures for the building and worked closely with the Operations team.

Management of the service team on Installation, Commission and Service of ice cream machines, grills, ovens, fryers. All Appliances included electric, gas and Refrigeration. Also stock control and organisation of the service dept. I trained all customers in the use of the equipment and general repairs.I also acquired certification from Taylor refrigeration.
