An employer once told me that I am a “disruptive influence to the organisation”, his rationale was that that the systems I design and deploy to production are catalysts for change and are enablers for the next change to occur. This has allowed the organisations that I've worked for to be more agile, by giving people the tools they need to accept change and to adapt. When developing systems and solutions, my focus has been on innovation and creating solutions that achieve value for customers. My preferred method of design is founded on open discussions with system users and beneficiaries.
