Responsible for network monitoring and intrusion detection of the Air Force Materiel Command network, and for development of custom SQL queries used to analyze trends in network traffic at the AFMC Network Operations and Security Center. Participated in the Black Demon 2004 exercise as a Blue Team network defender.

Managed a team of system and database administrators responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the Windows, UNIX, and database development network infrastructure in Fairborn, Ohio and Santa Clara, California, which included over 50 operating system and database combinations. Responsible for help desk operations management, maintaining vendor relationships and service contracts, and working with senior management to meet the needs and requirements of the Product Development organization. Redesigned and supervised remodeling of an 850 sq. ft. raised-floor data center.
