Working within the Wintel Infrastructure team based at ACE's Crawley Datacentre supporting the EMEA region. Covering the Wintel support queue (helping reduce the ticket queue from over 500 to just over 200), building servers (W2K3, W2K8 and W2K12) and working on small internal projects. An initial three month contract, extended currently to the end of March 2014.

Dorking, Surrey

Working at IBM's client site in Dorking for Friends Provident. As part of the Third Line Wintel team undertaking numerous internal projects including upgrades to HR Systems, Windows 2000 refresh, McAfee ePO 4.6 upgrade and migration (including 1700+ servers, 7000+ workstations), datacentre power downs and new server builds. I also assist the offshore Support teams and undertake all BAU work on the McAfee Anti-Virus solutions used on the account.

Client Site In Three Bridges

Working for Ultima at their client site in Three Bridges for Xafinity Paymaster. I undertook a Third Line Wintel Support role, covering the support queue and aiding the internal Xafinity IT Projects team when required. This was a three month contract role.

I worked at Varian in their Crawley office for five months as a contractor on several projects including a Windows 7 roll-out, Thin Client utilisation and hard disk encryption.

Same basic role as held for Friends Provident, but moved across to IBM once the vast majority IT roles were outsourced.
