As a creative producer, Pierre-Mathieu Fortin has contributed to the creation of various works on all platforms. After co-directing BonGolem, an award-winning digital agency for several years, he was appointed head of creative, digital content for Radio-Canada (CBC). For 6 years, he accompanies several documentary producers in their original creations, such as The sound of words (Picbois Production), Burgundy Jazz (Catbird Productions) which will collect numerous prizes, as well as numerous scripted series. Within NITROFIlms, he produced Sarah Fortin's feature-length documentary Stephen Faulkner: I ain’t gonna leave as well as several short films.He does a stint in advertising for agency SIDLEE, where he produced, in addition to numerous short-form series, a documentary on the indie video game industry: J_VDO. He produces for the interactive studio of the National Film Board, a series of 6 short films for digital platforms. He collaborates as a digital producer with URBANIA on the development of many innovative projects among those an award-wining interactive digital Theatre venture. With the Quebec Cinema Foundation, he created the 5th edition of Rendez-vous Pro, as well as La Forge, a 5-days immersive screenwriting bootcamp for emerging film talents, funded by Netflix. He acts as a consultant and jury for various companies and nation-wide institutions such as SODEC, the Ministry of Culture and Communications of Quebec or the Canadian Media Fund.
