• Be the voice of the customer in the Live Events and Corporate AV market segment, and identify how most customer value can be created, across the end-to-end customer journey• Define a single tier product strategy and roadmap, maximizing customer value and leveraging the latest technology trends• Define market requirements, with a strong focus on user workflow and services• Commit (to customer) for non-standard product features• Assess and implement product life cycle initiatives• Evangelize the product value proposition and develop tools and collateral to enable sales

• Lead new product research, including customer visits and focus groups.• Create, maintain and foster relationships with the customer base with the idea towards establishing frequent focus groups with the resultant Voice of Customer reports utilized by both Panasonic USA and factory for new product development• Engage in new product development with customers, Sales, Product Management and Development teams.• Create new product requirement documentation for the development process.• Support Technology Demonstrations using hands-on integration as well as product value propositions through verbal, written and visual communication. • Work with 3rd party products and services that will help Panasonic offer better products and solutions for its customers.• Perform new product evaluations using industry accepted practices, communicate with factory to resolve design issues, enhancements and provide an official acceptance report.• Play a Leadership role in Design and Integration of Tradeshow booth in conjunction with Exhibit House to display vision of the company by its innovative products and system solutions. (i.e. NAB & Infocomm)

• Research and recommend new products and services to Director of Emerging technology consistent with corporate capabilities and objectives in support of the defined product strategy and roadmap.• Provide competitive analysis on competing products and technologies to develop specifications that differentiate us from our competitors.• Assist the Product Development Director to support the development of new products and provide project management support to ensure new initiatives are developed in conjunction with established business timelines and customer expectations.• Serve as subject matter expert for product families to support internal team, field sales, channel partners and end customers as required. • Develop product operating manual; hardware specification and white papers to improve product understanding & usability.• Develop and conduct training courses for internal teams, field sales, channel partners and end customers as required.• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements while improving manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.• Define and support QC process to ensure quality of manufactured hardware & software to ensure customer satisfaction and reduce support costs.

• Provide end-to-end Consulting, Systems engineering, technical support and Project Management services to facilitate sales efforts to Sales Team, Systems Integrator, and Channel Partners in qualifying, and closing Sales opportunities. • Provide technical support throughout project life cycle. Perform above functions and services independently and/or in coordination with third party partners and Panasonic Internal Teams. (80% Domestic Travel)• Analyze, test and provide solutions for customer applications and issues related to hardware and software used with Projector products.• Serve as final escalation point for Service and Hotline in resolving customer issues when escalated to insure timely resolution.• Assist in pre and post sales situations with on-site technical assistance.• Provide training on new products to Sales, Service, Configuration Center, resellers, and end users.• Maintain records of all open issues. Ensures satisfactory closure of quality issues in an expeditious manner to protect the Panasonic brand image, minimize the impact to the customer, and minimize excessive service costs.• Prepare weekly reports on issues such as product performance, job site visits, site surveys, and project implementation status.
