Under this role my responsibilities involve:- Designing, developing, testing and delivering new features.- Collaborate with team members from other departments during the design and development of said features.- Provide technical expertise to the team.- Conduct code reviews, adhering to code standards and best practices.- Continuously explore and implement new technologies into the infrastructure and application to improve the quality of the platform.

Under this role I was responsible for the developing and maintaining new features for the investor relations platform Irwin.I focused primarily on frontend development, introducing design patterns, testing practices, and collaborating with colleagues both outside and inside the engineering team to deliver a great user experience. The technologies involved in this part of the work were javascript, react 16/17, jest, and react testing libray.I was also involved in backend development to create new features on the API side, database optimization , as well as some minor development on the event sourced part of the system. The technologies involved in this part of the work were ruby on rails 5/6, postgresql 13, and eventide.As part of the cycle of developing new features I was also responsible for documenting changes to the application using the OpenAPI standard.

As a consultant I was involved in the early stages of multiple projects for the AI Factory team, including dTrax, CRiSP, and CyFi.My responsabilities under this role included:- Continuation of full stack development role for dTrax, developing new features on both the backend and frontend from the requirement gathering phase through development, testing and release.- As one of the primary developers for CRiSP, designing and developing the frontend, as well as collaborating with other team members on the design of the system architecture.- Acted as frontend tech lead for CyFi, overseeing 2 developers as well as taking part in development. Was also involved in integrating multiple separate services into a microservice architecture using docker.

As a consultant I worked on the development of features both on the frontend and the backend in the creation of dTrax, the largest product for the AI Factory team.My responsibilities in this role included:- The development of backend features using django 1.11 and python 2.7.- The development of frontend features using react 14.- Implemented Docker containerization for the application as a measure to mitigate cross-system compatibility challenges during the development phase.

Optimized, performed quality control on new and existing parts of the system, and developed new features for a crisis management system.* Analysis of existing application architecture and performance using Django and TastyPie frameworks.* Identification of bottlenecks and research of alternative solutions for back end systems.* Development of back end utilities and front end features.* Work with team members to test a new deployment architecture using Vagrant.Technologies:Django, TastyPie, React, Python, HTML, CSS, JS, Oracle Database Express Edition, Vagrant.

Working in an agile environment pair programming with a team of developers to maintain and expand existing projects to budgetary and quality requirements. Involved in all facets of development for the backend and web frontend for 2 projects: the Gift Card and Loyalty Programs and Vexilor POS.

Providing technical assistance to students with computer related problems, such as operating software, or account specific issues, as well as performing basic troubleshooting on the hardware and printer maintenance. Computer lab support technicians are also responsible for maintaining a clean and quiet areas with functional services for students.
