Was responsible the installation of 3 4-meter satellite dishes in China with much diplomacy and tact with Ascend equipment and a 24 x 7 NOC achieving 5 9's SLA. Selected and deployed voice compression equipment for the 7 city network including access points and routers. The resulting network became the first alternative voice network to the Tier 1 carriers between China and the US. • Developed Telco grade software to monitor sales and cost activity of competitive carriers on a real time basis and recommend changes. The software was deployed at HK Telecom as well as 2 US Companies and saved millions of dollars annually by pointing out misrouting and early trouble identification.

International callback proved to be highly adopted around the globe. ILD's revenues reached $27M annually. The callback industry caused the global rates to drop for the 1st time. In the process I invented the first automated collect call operator which was acquired by MCI and got to be known as 1-800-COLLECT Developed the service delivery infrastructure with PC Based switching .Managed the 24x7 network operation center to assure round the clock service delivery. Negotiated 4 intercontinental leased lines and installed local pops in 4 countries. Was responsible for the hi tech universities in Southern California and delivered a several million dollar quota consistently. Won a 2 week trip to Australia as part of the high achivers club. Symbolics was an MIT spin off building lisp machines and expert systems. My new interest in business with my technical background put me in a technical sales position. I serviced many hi tech accounts including Caltech, JPL, NASA, USC, TRW, SRI, US Navy, and Lucasfilm. This position required a deep understanding of the newfangled object oriented programming (FLAVORS) and was an evangelist movement to convince the world that OOP was the path of the future.
