As a qualified and experienced GIS professional I am proactive in the continued improvement and effective output of the Planning Authority’s spatial data. Providing GIS support and guidance which includes (but is not limited to) data capture, quality assurance, spatial analysis, and preparation of high quality maps which support projects including wind farm inquiries, heritage statements, Statutory Planning Policy documents, Urban Design Frameworks and the Huntingdonshire Local Plan. I maintain high standards in quality management to ensure that the accuracy and integrity of the authority’s spatial data assets are retained.My creative experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite enable me to successfully lead on various design projects and to create rich, innovative, high quality printed, digital and interactive communication material. Challenging and continuously evolving briefs mean it is essential that I react positively and effectively to change.Additionally, I actively manage an electronic gallery of photographs, illustrations, maps, symbols, text and other visuals for use in the design, creation and development of informative documents, presentations, public consultation exhibitions, and development frameworks.Excellent interpersonal skills achieved through daily contact with stakeholders and the diversity of the general public enable me to react confidently when communicating on a corporate and social level.
