The focus is on competency retention training program, mentoring program, maintenance forecasting and scheduling, maintenance program management , maintenance response time coordination, validation and system performance audits, self-assessment audits, coordination and planning with ATC operations, proofing validation of system integrity practices, logging best practices, quality and safety internal auditing, external auditing with Transport Canada and BSI, Safety Management, Quality Management, proof of performance coordination with EPD, coordinating with Life Cycle on field modifications and facilitating ANS standards/procedures and change management processes in the field.Duties include Planning and organizing preventative verification/validation of system and equipment integrity, performance of corrective maintenance for complex electronics, systems and networks used in air navigation services.Validation and certification of critical system parameters and service elements, investigating of system/network problems,implementing solutions and rectifying deficiencies in real time operations. As part of Revenue Services contract mandate ongoing technologist training, planning, scheduling and coordinating with CATSA for ongoing installation, troubleshooting, preventative/corrective maintenance, site acceptance testing of L3 XLB X-Ray, Smiths ATIX X-Ray, EDT Trace, L3 Full Body Scanner FBS, CEIA WTMD Walk-through systems.Internal Audits with Quality and Safety on system integrity, SMS, QMS, NC-SIS HIRA, ISI, RCA, CAP processes. External TC & BSI audits maintaining CARS 802.11 mandate, system certification and integrity as stated by ICAO. Environmental Audits focusing on ISO 10001: 2008 certification.
