I have extensive experience related to the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in more than a dozen areas. These include: services software, security software and hardware, user devices and software, display devices, analytics software, memory devices, wireless communications devices and systems, sensors, wireless software and applications, internet and intranet networks, and medical devices. On the management side, I have managed the patent portfolios for given technologies in addition to organizing outside counsel related to patent prosecution. For more than eight years, I have trained others on how to work with intellectual property, and have held patent mining sessions to enhance the patent portfolios in specific technical areas.
