I am a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in several industries and sectors, holding an MBA from FIA/FEA-USP and a degree in production engineering from Escola Politécnica-USP. As the chairman of the board of directors of Travel Holdings, a financial holding from FJLabs, I am responsible for aligning the interests of investors and founders of ViajaNet, a leading OTA in Brazil.My core competencies include P&L management, people and culture development, startups, IT, sales, marketing, and M&A. As ViajaNet CEO for more than 10 years I have successfully led the turnaround, growth, and sale of the company. I was responsible to propose new strategies and technologies to face the challenging travel market in Brazil and ensure the profitable growth of the company. Under my leadership sales went from R$ 200M in 2012 to R$ 1.1B in 2019, achieving a NPS higher than 60%. I manage the company through the pandemic and in 2022 I led a successful M&A with Despegar. I have also built and led strategic areas at Azul Linhas Aéreas, one of the most successful airlines in Latin America, as the VP of commercial/MKT and IT. As CIO I led several projects in different companies: at Gol I managed Varig IT integration, at Alcan/Novelis I built a Global IT Governance and at Suzano Papel e Celulose I led a successful full SAP implementation. My mission as executive is to leverage my expertise to propose and execute innovative strategies and technologies that will enhance the competitive edge and profitability of the companies I work with.

We adopted a different MKT strategy based on mouth to mouth, guerilla and strong presence in social networks that granted to Azul many prizes in Brazil and US as the best and most innovative airline brand.
