Responsibility for the formulation and implementation of national client acquisition strategy across referral channels within Professional Services, Government and Community Sectors.Oversight of internal projects targeting growth in client acquisition through ongoing continuous improvement, as well as transformational growth initiatives.

Responsibility for formulating company strategy and development of primary business model. Building projected cash flow models aligned with company growth objectives. Development of business processes and compliance measures.

Formulation of business development strategy in order to meet budgetary targets of TLA’s Global Events division in Australia, and oversight of its execution by sales team. Assessing and responding to RFP’s, and analysing potential new business opportunities across TLA’s capabilities. Playing an internal role to coordinate growth strategies across business units, requiring ongoing engagement with stakeholders in TLA’s New York, London and Sydney offices. Presenting regularly to existing and potential clients across whole of business capabilities.

Responsibility for maximising the commercial potential of TLA assets via brand strategy management and sourcing commercial partnerships. Accountability for end to end sponsorship sales, inclusive of negotiation of contracts and liaising with internal and external legal teams. Developing relationships with key governing bodies, such as the Australian Olympic Committee, Swimming Australia and Football Federation Australia. Representing TLA at premier industry events, including the 2011 Swimming World Championships in Shanghai, 2012 Olympics in London, 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Responsibility for an existing client base, as well as the generation of new business, for Standard & Poor’s V&RS services within Australia and New Zealand. Sectors overseen included Asset Management, Banking, Insurance, Corporate and Government sectors, as well as responsibility for the entirety of Standard & Poor’s client base in New Zealand.

Account management for existing clients of Standard & Poor’s Securities Evaluations Service in EMEA, with the remit to retain and expand the customer accounts. My client base was focussed on both the third party fund administrators (JP Morgan WWSS, UBS Fund Services, Northern Trust), and investment banks (Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Mizuho, ING, Lloyds TSB).

Vista Research (owned by Standard & Poor’s) is a boutique subscription based service that connects its clients (institutional investors) to industry professionals who possess specific knowledge and experience in the key sectors of investment focus for the client. My role required researching diverse and evolving industry topics on behalf of institutional investors, with the intent of sourcing individuals with expertise in these sectors to consult with our clients.
