In 1 year, built from the ground up a software engineering organization and cloud technology to automate delivery of live sports and live stats to Prime Video customers worldwide. Grew the live selection on Prime Video by 1000x in less than a year, got key contracts for premium live content with major leagues like NFL, MBA, MLB, English Premiere League, ATP, PGA, UFC, etc. We built a new software organization and systems to enable rapid growth of live video selection for Prime Video customers on 2000+ device types globally (TVs, Phones, consoles, web, etc.). Highly scaled, extensible cloud services enabling real time publishing, search and discovery of live content globally, with specialized search optimization to discover personalized real-time content, scores and stats at low latency. Creating this requires holding the highest software engineering standards to deliver best-in-class living room experience to millions of viewers worldwide, live. And we had a lot of fun doing it!

Headed and grew Amazon's software engineering organization responsible for package routing, freight routing and monitoring, and physical freight processing at Amazon hubs. Built highly scaled systems that grew more than 100x in volume over 4 years, and compute millions of route assignments per second at peak (and growing)! Our automation enabled Amazon to scale its own road and air freight operations from the ground up.This requires continuously inventing new logistics products to enable the rapid expansion of the largest e-retailer on the planet, and reduce its highest operational cost. We launched highly scaled distributed demand matching and route optimization services which use terabytes of signals to ensure every package is shipped at the highest speed and lowest cost. Used data science and ML to continuously optimize a complex delivery network at scale. Applied computer vision technology to automate physical container processing at Amazon hubs. This tech runs one of the largest transportation networks in the world, computes millions of business decisions per second, and impacts billions of dollars of transportation costs per year.

Lead Amazon's technical product management organization defining product and technology roadmap and software delivery for Amazon core transportation services - spanning 100s of cloud services and applications, and 300+ software engineers.

I joined the Xbox One launch team to lead product and program management for a new generation of Xbox Cloud gaming and access control services. There, I designed and coordinated development of a set of highly scaled tier-1 services which still power entertainment on Xbox One, PC, Tablets and Phones.My role in the team consisted in creating a vision for innovative cloud-based game development technology ensuring data security and privacy in a multi-tenant environments. Aligned the exec team and developers across multiple studios, applications and devices in delivering patented tech which enabled fast and secure development of cloud connected applications in a multi-tenant environment. This required guiding hundreds of engineers and partners to integrate with new security protocols and platform components, all in time for the launch of Xbox One. Had fun presenting at industry conferences, had a chance to invent new patented standards and technologies for privacy and online safety controls, and participated in defining simple software foundations which enabled single sign on from any Xbox device to popular services like Netflix, Youtube, or Amazon Video.

I joined Microsoft Research to build foundations for a Data Science incubation in healthcare. There, I was responsible for defining a Healthcare Application Data SDK, and Healtchare Enterprise Identity and Access Control technologies to unlock access to electronic patient information at critical times.Pushed the organization to use customer driven product development. Created patented technology in the area of distributed data processing of health information, identity federation, and role based data management for healthcare organizations. This tech became the foundation for a joint venture spun out between Microsoft and GE, when I decided I wanted to explore new product development within Microsoft..

Responsible for research and publications in high performance computational models for atomic scale electronics- applied to electronic and heat transport in nano-devices, including silicon and graphene based devices- Designed and implemented numerical software to develop new theories in nanoscale physics - Author of 8 journal publications, regular presentation at technical conferences.
