As the CFO of Poseidon Diving Group I lead the finance department including the functions of HR, IT and legal. As part of the general management of the company, I was directly involved in all areas from marketing to support, with responsibilities ranging from e-commerce and marketing to ERP-systems, logistics and supply chain management. Poseidon develops and produces the most advanced electronically controlled rebreather on the market and drives the digitalization of the industry.More than 25 years of experience from tech companies has given a deep understanding of the business and technical aspects of launching new technology. This is combined with extensive international experience gathered from working in 30+ countries and living in five gives unique combination of expertise.Project examples as a consultant include the global roll-out of prepaid mobile telephony and mobile payments, the roll-out of 3G operators, the launch of Napster Mobile Music (a music service launching the year Spotify was founded), sales and delivery of advanced intranets with corporate search engines, and development and production of electronically controlled rebreathers. All of them were solutions early in their life cycles which have given solid experience regarding the importance of market readiness and timing when scaling a business.
