About Adam Peterson

Throughout my career, I have been associated with growth companies which develop and sell sophisticated software and cloud platform capabilities, serving critical needs of businesses and individual end users. Recently, I launched my first entrepreneurial venture, PocketSpheres LLC. This mobile application technology company is the first to be started by a grandmother and her grandson. At a reunion years ago, it was difficult for family to share photos with her and she was unfamiliar with how to use apps available on her iPhone. With some research and competitive analysis, it became apparent that the leading photo sharing applications were not designed for all generations to use and they did not provide privacy options to their customers. Meanwhile, personal information privacy issues are making headlines globally. I began building the software and cloud based platform which would allow businesses and individuals to share photos from their smartphone, privately and easily. The mobile app for personal use has launched under the brand name Spheres™ in the leading app stores. The underlying technology and analytics for business use are available by custom licensing arrangements.Prior to PocketSpheres, I reported to the CEO and President of TMA Systems. I was directly involved in all of the operational departments of the company, in an entrepreneurial role. As an analyst, I was leading the coordination of product life cycle management, customer management, post-sales engineering. These roles included:• Budgeting and resource management of internal resources• Third party vendor management• Contract negotiation and execution• Software and database engineering and implementation• Scalability, security and backup systems expertise• Quality assurance in a very dynamic version control environment
