Instead of following a conventional path, I sought out diverse experiences that would shape me into a well-rounded individual.My journey began at a young age when I became a migrant worker in Maricopa, Arizona. The scorching sun beat down on the fields as I picked watermelons and cantaloupes. This arduous labor taught me the value of hard work and the importance of keeping pace with my peers. When I struggled, I learned to ask for help, discovering that people are often willing to lend a hand. This act of kindness not only propelled me forward but also instilled in me the desire to be a leader who leads by example.Inspired by this experience, I pursue a degree in Organization Management at Gateway. Through my studies, I aimed to equip myself with the knowledge and skills to help not only myself but also others achieve success. I recognized that true leadership is about guiding others towards their goals, and I wanted to make a positive impact in the lives of those around me.In my professional life, I currently work as a part time bookkeeper for a small family business. I take pride in ensuring our accounting practices are compliant, managing taxes, and maintaining balanced books. Additionally, I gained valuable experience in the financial sector, specifically with 401k plans, during my time with Merrill Lynch. Currently I am undertaking certifications for Data Analyst by Google, aspire to enter as a entry level underwriter and completing courses towards a financial Analyst.However, life isn't solely about professional pursuits. I believe in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. In my free time, you'll find me exploring various barbering techniques, experimenting with different hairstyles. I also have a passion for golf, handball and basketball and can often be found on the court with friends, shooting hoops and enjoying the camaraderie. Above all, spending quality time with my son and loved ones holds a special place in my heart, and we often gather for Monday night cookouts, cherishing the joy of togetherness.By embracing the lessons life has to offer, both through work and personal experiences, I aspire to continue growing as an individual and making a positive impact on those around me.
