The advisors conduct own sales and sales support for the entire Nordic customer base of corporate customer within the areas of Merchant Acquiring and Issuing. Under my leadership, I proudly kept the business growing for 5 years despite a negative market outlook and a changing business environment due to the Interchange Fee Regulation (IFR, 2015). Thanks to our efforts, Nordea retain a strong market share among bank-issued Commercial Credit Cards and remains the second largest in the Nordics (top ten in Europe). Another great achievement during this period was the divestment of the merchant acquiring portfolio at a remarkably high acquisition price [in relation to operating profit] in late 2015. Show less

As the major business responsible stakeholder, I was channelling customer requirements from the market to all product units throughout the bank. The biggest achievement was implementing and harvesting from the Banking Operating Model (BOM), which specialized and streamlined the Branches into Corporate-, Advisory- and Service branches, leading to a new focus in Nordea’s way of conducting business and interacting with customers.
