Life is a history of brightness and darkness. I was born in Belgium and graduated as Business Engineer from Louvain School of Management (formerly know as I.A.G. at UCLouvain) in 1988. After following the spin-off of Ion Beam Applications from 1986 to 1988 and making a market study of the radioisotopes for nuclear medicine in South America, I decided to move to Chile, where I finally started representing Glaverbel (Now AGC Glass Europe) from 1993 until now. In 2005, I co-founded Functional Products Trading and invented the brand "Benexia" for chia seeds and derivatives. I represented and represent other companies. I participated in the Chilean Belgian Luxemburguese Chamber of Commerce in Santiago as director for many years and now as president since 2015. I was decorated as Officer of the Leopold Order in 2019, one of the highest civil decoration of the Kingdom of Belgium. That is the quick look at my bright side.On the dark side, I had a depression, a divorce, a hostile kick-out of my associates in the chia business, my sixteen years out daughter close to death due to a lethal Hanta virus, a 8,8 earthquake on Richter scale in Chile that destroyed part of the country. All this from 2004 until 2010. This pushed me to reevaluate the meaning of life and existence. I got rid of all beliefs and started a philosophical search that culminated with the publication of my book "Vida Singular y el Triángulo de las Ilusiones" (Singular Life and the Triangle of Illusions) in Chile in 2015. That book was primarily written for myself, to gather and keep a trace of all the thoughts and concepts I discovered on my path to a new understanding. The good news is that I recovered from all the experiences and the idea to share my thoughts and approaches with other people began to grow. I summed it all up in a single word : POINTFULNESS, with represent the perfection of the singularity where everything meets and the relevance of a life free of illusions.
