Norwalk is located 17 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles, is the 14th most populous city in Los Angeles County, and home to over 110,000 residents.Glen is an accomplished licensed Professional Civil Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the Public Sector. This includes twelve years in the Private Sector assisting public agencies in a consulting capacity providing Public Works & Civil Engineering Services. Glen is adept at planning, managing and directing all aspects of municipal public works functions with a focus on civil engineering, design, and construction management for large-scale public works projects. He has extensive knowledge in Capital Improvement Plan development and implementation, site management, quality assurance, scheduling, budgeting, and grant funding acquisition at the local, county, state, and federal levels.Glen specializes in the management, planning, direction and operations of all Public Works functions including facility and fleet services; street improvements, water, sewer, and storm drain systems design and operation; National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System compliance, environmental review and development plan check, and right-of-way inspections for permitting compliance.In addition to the City of Norwalk; he previously served as Public Works Director/City Engineer for the Cities of Compton, Inglewood and Lomita.
