Work as a Data engineer:- Design the data infrastructure of the Mundimoto Group following an Event-driven solution and the Data mesh principles- Implement the Data infrastructure architecture of the Mundimoto Group (end-to-end) - Configure and deploy an event publisher library that all the services of the Mundimoto Group can use to communicate with the Kafka cluster (scalable to the throughput required of each service) - Deploy and configure the Kafka cluster - Configure all the connectors of the Kafka cluster, so it can load any event emitted to it - Design and configure an asynchronous scalable ingestion method to load ETLs output into the Kafka cluster (enforcing the schemas established) - Automate the creation of topics based on configuration files: - Automate the creation of test topics to be able to simulate production load with it - Automate the validation and deploy of topic schema changes - Automate the creation of models based on the topic value/key schemaWork as a Software engineer:- Help to establish the engineering culture of the Mundimoto Group- Collaborate with the Purchases team in the deprecation of legacy services- Lead a team to build a reliable Payments solution- Actively help with the software designs of new services and provide guidance on infrastructure decisions for those services.- Implement a GDPR-compliant document storage serviceWork as a Platform engineer:- Work on the Platform team to achieve a GitOps solution- Establish a centralized monitoring solution for all the Mundimoto Group Services- Configure and deploy an on-call and incident management solution to achieve fast resolution times during incidents.- Collaborate on the migration towards infrastructure as code- Templatize the most common services (ETLs, Back end services, Front end services, and Consumer services) and automate the infrastructure requirements spin-up, in order to be able to deploy a service to production in less than one hour.
