Created a SaaS hospital scheduling application for medical offices. The client was developed using GWT and JSP. The server used Spring and Hibernate running under Tomcat using a Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS.• Developed a number of reusable GWT widgets using the MVP pattern and UiBinder. The widgets supported the GWT editor framework. The widgets allowed quick creation of complex pages and dialogs.• Wrote services to support the data transfer to and from the client.• Developed JUnit tests for the services and GWT presenter code.• Created a JBehave framework for testing the UI code. Tests were run nightly and identified numerous bugs prior to release.Worked on an ambulatory care application. The application was a .NET client which displayed HTML pages. The server used Spring and Hibernate and a proprietary ORM running under JBoss using an Oracle RDBMS.• Developed the data model and wrote the code for a prescription template application. This allowed doctors to quickly prescribe common prescriptions and regimens.• Introduced dynamic JavaScript to the application. This greatly increased performance on a number of complex pages.• Streamlined the faxing of prescriptions using FOP which made the faxing process more maintainable.• Replaced the patient selector with one written in GWT. This provided a modern look and improved functionality to the landing page of the application.

Developed and maintained the external and internal web sites for CBCA. • Provided claims and eligibility information and reports to customers. The external website was written in JSP and JAVA using a Weblogic app server and Oracle RDBMS. The site supported two different claims systems.• Created a web based call audit application. The application cut call audit times by over 50% and automated the audit reporting.• Automated publication of internal documentation for the call centers to the WIKI using Perl and Python scripts. Developed a search engine for the WIKI.• Developed a web based tracking system for backup tapes.• Created data mapping scripts to automate the loading of an operational data store (ODS) for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) reporting.• Administered the UNIX app servers, Oracle database server and the claims server.

Worked on several different teams.• Network Queuing Environment (NQE) o Led the NQE 3.3 project. Coordinated work between developers, QA and publication. o Performed feature development with emphasis on the database component.• Database Group o Ported Ingres RDBMS 6.2 and 6.3 to Cray UNICOS. o Ported Oracle RDBMS 7.0.3 client software to Cray UNICOS o Assisted with the porting Empress and Sybase Open Client to UNICOS.• Automated Technical Support (ATS) o Designed and maintained the Oracle database used for the Software Problem Reports (SPR) system. o Developed a report generator for the SPR system which allowed developers and managers to create and automate custom SPR reports.

Created reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS) reports for the System 36 and System product lines. The reports were developed in SAS.
