In my previous experience as co-founder, managing director, and senior partner in Korn Ferry’s Technology Officers Executive Search Practice, I hired, developed and led a high-performance team of search consultants and I recruited and placed technology executives - CIOs, CTOs, CDOs - helping them realize their career goals while bringing transformative leaders to help drive my clients' growth and success. Clientele ranged from Fortune 500 (2x Fortune 10 CIOs!) to start ups and venture-backed companies as well as prestigious public and private research universities and mission-driven nonprofit organizations. I currently serve as an Executive Advisor and Mentor for the master's degree program in Information Technology at Northeastern University and previously at Columbia University. I frequently speak on career management topics and I originated the “Executive Career Counsel” column in CIO Magazine and at CIO.com.I am a member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) and served as President and Chair of the New York Chapter. I also served on the Advisory Boards of The Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF), the premier organization dedicated to empowering Black technology executives, and its sibling organization HITEC, the Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council. And I recruit CIOs to support NPower, a national nonprofit offering best-in-class IT training for veterans, young adults, and women from under-resourced communities.I earned a master’s degree in Computer Science at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering at Union College in Schenectady, NY.
