I focus my legal practice on real estate, retail and distribution law. Clients include Belgian and non-Belgian enterprises and public authorities, looking for hands-on legal advice and sound legal assistance in all stages of their project.Clients call on me for negotiating and drafting contracts such as sale and purchase agreements, immovable VAT leasing contracts, usufruct agreements, office and industrial leases, etc. I assist retailers on a daily basis in establishing, expanding and managing their network of stores by concluding commercial leases (high-streets and shopping centers), negotiating lease renewals, terminating or assigning lease contracts, etc. I regularly represent retailers and landlords in court in the framework of a lease renewal or rent revision dispute. Through my experience in the field and before court, I not only know the law but also understand the market standards and industry needs, allowing me to provide clients with a solid, solution-led advice.
