Coordination of all possible cargo transfer operations between LNG tankers, with up to 266.000 m3 of LNG on board, and the Fluxys LNG terminal in Zeebrugge: - Loading of LNG tankers from shore tanks- Unloading of LNG tankers to shore tanks- Transshipment between LNG tankers from Jetty1 to Jetty2I was also involved in several projects and daily operational matters.

In general, a technical superintendent is responsible for managing the technical aspect and maintenance of all dredging equipment, including auxiliary equipment and workshops.Additional responsibilities are: - Reporting of all activities to head office; - Organizing and following up international mobilisations of spare parts in concert with transport department; - Hiring and evaluation of local subcontractors/manpower; - Monitoring the implementation of international and in-house imposed safety, quality and environmental regulations/standards.On projects: - Technical assistance for project related questions and/or modifications; - Coordination of maintenance and evaluating the necessity and urgency. Keeping an eye on maximum efficiency to reduce down time as much as possible. Discussing of the planning with the Captain/Chief engineer and the Project staff team. Not on project, long repair periods/Idle periods: - Preparations and follow up of dry docks or floating repairs. This includes writing of the scope of works, comparing different quotations, planning follow up during reparations, providing technical assistance to the ship yard and invoice discussions; - Preparations and/or modifications for a next project.
