As an data engineer, my main focus is to implement end-to-end data solutions (data warehouse) at various customers. Next, I'm also responsible for the roll-out of several data governance tracks and the implementation of a Power BI strategy.

In the last year of my master studies, I worked one day a week as a market analyst in the copper connectivity department of CommScope. My job included: performing price and cost analyses, evaluations of foreign markets and executing a competition analysis.This job gave me the opportunity to put my hard skills as a business engineer into practice and to have an instructive hands-on experience in a multi-national. Thanks to the fact that I had the liberty to organize my own work, I learnt a lot about time- and self-management. CommScope is a fortune top 250 company that focuses on building stronger connections, shaping networks of the future and growing and optimizing bandwidth.

During my studies, I worked as a brand activator for Edgard&Cooper to spread their magnificent story of healthy and natural dog and cat food. The focus of the job was on creating brand awareness and expanding their customer base. As a brand activator I visited various pet stores to share the story and promote/sell the products of Edgard&Cooper to their customers. I also represented Edgard&Cooper on multiple events. The job involved a lot of customer interaction, responsibility, punctuality and a certain ability to work independently. Personally, I learnt a lot in how to deal with various types of customers and promoting products. Edgard&Cooper is a young, Belgian company that brings healthy, natural cat and dog food to the market.

One-to-One tuition of high school students in mathematics and economics.

At the summer of 2019, I worked as student auditor at AB Inbev for one month. Here, I was part of the tech sales team, that is responsible for defining the sales targets of the salesforce. My job was to visit points of contact and to evaluate certain performances. I concluded the student job with a final presentation of the audit results along with several analyses and focus points to set better targets. This job required lots of social skills due to fact that you are in direct contact with the customers of AB Inbev. As a student auditor, I was given a lot of freedom which implied a certain level of commitment and self-discipline from my part. At the end of the student job, I had the valuable experience of presenting the results and analyses of my own audits.AB Inbev is the world's largest brewer and is also considered as one of largest fast-moving consumer goods companies in the world.

During the academic year 2017-2018, I was a volunteer at Academics For Companies (AFC). As event coordinator, I was part of the Human Resources department that was responsible for the organization of events and team buildings. This experience fitted my personality as a social, hard-working and flexible person perfectly. It refined my skills to work in a team and taught me the true value of teamworking, communication and coping with deadlines together as a team. Further, adaptability to last-minute changes and coming up with creative, executable solutions were also often tested.Academics For Companies is a student organization determined to narrow the gap between the academic and the corporate world. Therefore, AFC provides several trainings, practical experiences and workshops to prepare students for the big step after graduation.
