The last of my risk management positions was very stimulating in terms of research and development. I was project lead, participating in full stack process of development of internal risk assessment system. It implied integration with Reuters information services, so I received my Reuters 3000 Xtra certification. I participated in every step of life cycle (defining requirements, writing specifications, creating and coding algorithms, discussing architecture, contacting with IT departments and service providers). It was not industrial-scale system, but it was my happy opportunity to "make my hands dirty" in project leading and system development. :)Also I performed a lot of methodological work, from risk calculation to Centrobank's normative acts implementation. Some of my works were of integrative sense - e.g., simple and clear rating approach for industries, based on price change trends. This rating could be helpful for credit risk assessment, providing an extra factor for industry welfare assessment (Financial Risk Management, 2009). Some of my works were broader than internal daily needs - for instance, I've made research on "risk profile" of Russian stock market, proposing foundation for method of relative risk limits settlement (Financial Risk Management, 2010).Moreover, in that time I began to pursue my psychological education. Both practical and theoretical, Transactional Analysis helped me lay foundation for various "soft skills" and for organizational analytics.
