Engineer/scientist who enjoys asking 'weird' questions - which lead to research! My research interests currently encompass looking at more optimal pathways for 'waste' materials across a range of different industries. Happy to chat to anyone that has material that is currently considered a waste! Currently overseeing a $13m+ portfolio of projects which keeps me busy.From a career pathway perspective, I am a chemical engineer/food scientist, and hold a BE (Hons I) in the fields of Chemical and Materials Engineering. I have a PhD in the disciplines of Chemical & Materials Engineering+Food Science. I have 23 years of academic experience in food and materials research primarily with industry collaborators, coupled with extensive tertiary teaching in the fields of food science and engineering.
