I lead business development at the UK subsidiary of this research-based intercultural training and consulting agency headquartered in the US. My role is multi-faceted: beyond prospecting for/converting new business and account management, I also develop UK marketing strategy, have conversations around prospective partnerships and coordinate closely with our clients, facilitators and my US-based colleagues to create and deliver customised, impactful training programmes.

Intercultural training and support for individuals and families in the corporate, government, education and voluntary sectors, with a focus on helping people understand how intercultural transitions and interactions impact their wellbeing and performance. Topics included how to develop your cultural intelligence and how to manage difficult intercultural transitions, such as relocation and repatriation. Together with other Sietar members, I co-designed and regularly co-delivered a virtual intercultural awareness workshop aimed at helping charities retain volunteers who are working with refugees and asylum seekers and looking for a deeper understanding of the culture-related challenges they face.

I researched and reviewed the latest statistics and trends regarding workplace wellbeing and developed the content for the company's wellbeing services for corporates and SMEs, growing and liaising with a network of external experts and practitioners in all areas of wellbeing (from leadership coaching and stress management to financial advice, menopause awareness and LGBTQ+ parenting...and everything in between). I also delivered webinars and podcasts on workplace wellbeing for SMEs.

I was responsible for developing, selling and delivering our family focused GM services. I attended GM industry events, met with potential and existing clients and established a network of consultants and DSP partners. In addition, I also oversaw delivery of our bespoke GM services liaising between corporate employees and our consultants. YEW was shortlisted in 2018 and 2019 for the Relocate Awards ‘Excellence in Employee & Family Support’ category (under the name Parental Choice).
