As a key member of the initial review team who developed the business case for change, I then reestablished the Project Management Office as the Business Transformation Office, responsible for a team of 13 project managers and business analysts to deliver 26 projects within a year. During 2012 we started our journey of transforming State Trustees to provide a more efficient, scalable and more responsive business, saving $4 million in actual cost in 2012/2013 (most of which came from FTE savings through efficiencies and improved productivity).
