When Elsevier acquired Plum Analytics in 2017, I was responsible for the strategy and implementation of integrating PlumX metrics throughout Elsevier's suite of Research Product tools and publishing platforms, and the expansion of reliable metrics that matter throughout Elsevier's products.

Plum Analytics uses modern metrics to help answer the questions and tell the stories about research.We measure the impact of research online, including traditional measures like citations counts along with new metrics that showcase usage, social media activity or online commentary.
