• Part of a 24x7 operations team responsible for monitoring maintaining: 1. TYCHON Appliance Services and Operating Systems 2. Troubleshoot Kibana and Elasticsearch services and performance • Work with customers and developers to create new TYCHON Micro-Service based use cases for the enterprise • Create content for big data feeds, dashboards/visuals and Machine Learning (ML) jobs • Integrate TYCHON into new and existing technologies • Perform testing tasks for the TYCHON core application • Submit and monitor tickets for troubleshooting, bugs, and feature enhancements • Monitor AESMP for tickets associated with AESS troubleshooting • Provide systems engineering support • Participate in Change Management processes

- Installs, configures, and maintains RedHat Enterprise Linux servers and associated applications, scripts, and adapters.- Maintains full mission operational capability for the DIB server segment by insuring all federated sources and adapters are functioning properly.- Performs automated and manual checks of all servers to ensure compliance with DoD IAVA and other IA requirements.- Performs system patching as necessary based upon approved patches provided by PMO release management.- Performs and tests system backups to ensure the availability of current images and system configuration files to perform a system recovery should the need arise.- Provides system status updates to the leadership to establish and maintain a timely system status tracking mechanism.- Performs daily check of all servers to detect any system anomalies. This requires visually reviewing server logs on a weekly basis.- Maintains communications with and coordinates with Factory Engineers to debug identified problems.- Tests different data type DAO periodically to ensure all adapters are working properly- Reviews ingested data to verify that adapters are not missing data. This includes running the automated scripts and utilities, keeping the assigned adapters up to date with source databases and systems.- Perform required adapter maintenance such as renewing adapter passwords.- Tests connections to other DIBs, works with other DIB FSEs if anything is noticed to be wrong.- Maintains federated access with all nodes. This has an added benefit of providing 24 hour support worldwide.- Reviews and becomes knowledgeable of the mission of each cell in the ACE and determines how the DIB can be used effectively to support their mission requirements.- Provide remote support for other Army Fixed sites to cover outages.- Supports DCGS-A Intelligence Fusion System (IFS) Meta Data Catalog (MDC) servers on the Deployable DIBs as needed.

Provide Functional and Technical Support for Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A). Provide first contact and incident resolution to customers with hardware, software, and application problems; includes both customer telephone support as well as electronically submitted requests. Provide Technical Assistance (TA) reports for all support provided to DCGS-A FoS Help Desk Customers. Assist in the instruction and daily maintenance of all DCSG-A associated equipment with customers to assure accuracy. Install and configure DCGS-A systems which include GWS, IFS, and P-MFWS. Perform technical troubleshooting and resolve procedural issues. Maintain and update an electronic database of common procedural issues and solutions or quick fixes to known issues. Create virtual machines (VM) in support of POR system fielding, integration, and/or expansion. Manage VM snapshots to reduce overall impact to the system storage environment. Deploy, configure, and document complex VMware environments including but not limited to engineering designs and recommendations, deployment plans, system configurations; assembly guides and operational smart books. Install, configure, and maintain the vCenter server instance and its applicable database server/services. Install configure, and maintain all ESX/ESXi hosts within the environment.

Deliver and conduct training on very sophisticated and complex computer systems and software applications. Provide subject matter expert support on systems in various test environments in accordance with test standards and criteria. Conduct characterization of software and written or verbal evaluations of fixes, rewrites, version differences, and other relevant data as required.Additional duties encompass providing technical support to the customer on hardware and software operations of all theater fielded systems; specifically, conducting fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and peripheral devices. Deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in July 2004 and returned in January 2005. I was stationed in the Joint Interrogation and Detention Center (JIDC) at Abu Ghraib in Iraq and conducted 30-40 detainee screenings and approximately 140 interrogations with 98% resulting in intelligence reports. I conducted armed convoy protection and surveillance, produced daily intelligence information reports (IIR), SALUTE reports, knowledge briefs (KB), and status briefs to command. I used Field Manual 2-0 and Joint Publication 2-01 as references for Intelligence collection and to understand the intelligence cycle.

I worked in the warehouse loading and palletizing product for shipment. I was a lead and trainer for new employees. I trained forklift operation and standard operating procedures.
