I have just taken on a new challenge as the Senior General Counsel at CityFibre. Its an exciting development for me following on from my previous role as General Counsel at Ofcom.One of the first things I will be doing at CityFibre is building the legal team as the company moves forward at a fast pace with its mission. Our £4 billion rollout is now well underway with projects spread across the country and new town or city rollouts starting every month. We’re on track to bring full fibre to 8 million homes and businesses by 2025, playing our part to upgrade the nation.Building a national digital infrastructure platform requires an amazing and fast growing team and that in turn, creates huge opportunities. I need to recruit a number of key roles into my team, including Lawyers with competition, regulatory and commercial experience.
