I have a Diploma in Chemical Engineering by NTUA Athens, and a PhD in Computational Biochemistry by EPFL Lausanne. I am deeply interested in the molecular modelling of biologically relevant systems, especially by molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, in order to (1) understand how natural processes occur at the atomistic/molecular level and (2) contribute to efforts aimed at improving human life & health, or at protecting the environment. Also interested in exploring the potential for improving machine learning (ML)-based predictions by incorporating MD-derived parameters in ML models. Proven ability to work efficiently in both individual and collaborative projects, and to integrate with my colleagues at the professional and personal levels. Experience in working both in academia and in pharmaceutical industry.
