(new corporate name of Philips Lighting) leading the business in Greece, Israel, Cyprus, and Malta. He joined Dutch multinational Philips in 2010 as the General Manager of the Greek Lighting sector and served as the Vice Chairman of Philips Hellas S.A. from 2013 until his current appointment. Additionally, he is the Vice Chairman of Appliances Recycling S.A. and the Vice President of the Greek chapter of CEO Clubs International.Before joining Philips, he worked for French multinational Schneider Electric since 1998 in various commercial and business development positions in the fields of Industrial Automation, Energy Distribution and Services. He started his professional career as an Engineer at German multinational Endress & Hauser in 1995 following a two years’ service as a Reserve Army Officer-Lieutenant and Platoon Commander for the Greek Special Forces, Paratroopers Corps.He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (PhD) from Université Paris Dauphine-PSL (Universités de Paris aka 'La Sorbonne'), an MBA from Warwick University (UK), and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Energy) from Aristotle University.
